Choir

Sacred Heart’s Cathedral Choir is an adult Soprano/Alto/Tenor/Bass (SATB) ensemble. We are always looking for new members and welcome you to join us at the Sacred Heart Family Life Center any Thursday at 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. for rehearsal. The choir has approximately forty voices, with about thirty members attending for any given celebration.

We sing for the weekly 10:30 a.m. Mass every Sunday throughout the year, and many special Masses and services. We sing music from every period, but we are particularly fond of traditional Catholic music. With 2000 years of great music to choose from, we feel it’s worth singing! During the year, we sometimes invite members of the West Virginia Symphony to join us for more elaborate celebrations.
